Regional Security Lead - Africa

Duties & Responsibilities 
Ensure that agreed security KPI’s in the contract are understood, documented, socialized with relevant role players and monitored.
Establishes Management Information processes, forums and structures for activities such as guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with protecting client sites, installing and maintaining security technology.
Ensure that the established Management Information process in place addresses all the relevant KPI’s of the contract and is effective in pro-actively determine and address deficiencies in the security process. (Manned Guarding and Electronic Security)
Confers with counterparts in Africa Security, 2nd tier suppliers and Cres to ensure effectiveness of all meetings, reporting and corrective plans.
Chair and maintain records of all meetings as required by KPI’s and SLA’s. Ensure that minutes are kept and available for review in line with contract requirements and operational requirements.
Analyse the security MI to advise Senior Management and Bank personnel of emerging security and safety issues.
Consults and guides the TFS and client in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.
Represent TFS in assisting the planning and directing of electronic security system standards, such as CCTV surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, smoke detectors and outdoor perimeter and alarms.
Assisting TFS to implement processes to monitor the electronic security system standards, such as CCTV surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, smoke detectors and outdoor perimeter and alarms.
Work closely with Africa Security Technical forums to ensure TFS representation and input on Technology Standards that Technology suppliers must adhere to.
Conducts ad-hoc security inspections to check the efficiency of all security measures.
Ensures periodic training and awareness with role players on Management Information processes.
Compile monthly reports showing statistical data on relevant MI per region. Monthly reports are to reflect a snapshot of security related KPI’s and SLA requirements with a root cause analysis and recommendations. This report will give Management a view of TFS and 2nd tier supplier conformance
Conduct monthly performance supplier reviews and ensure action plans are submitted for incidents/risks identified.
Ensure checklists compiled are current, available and Bank staff, TFS Staff and 2nd tier supplier staff using the forms are trained on the process.
Leads personnel involved in establishing, promoting, and maintaining the Bank’s assets, people and property protection by analysing structures and forums and establishing effective information exchange and monitoring
Utilise Client and TFS security policy and processes to ensure effective security measures are put in place and kept up to date.
Have in-depth knowledge of the TFS contract to enable him to compile an effective Management Information framework that will address relevant TFS Client and 2nd tier supplier requirements and responsibilities.
Skills and Competencies Security Management ; Information Report Writing and analysis
Experience in the Banking environment preferable
Must have in-depth knowledge of Security Environment, security technology, security reporting, security management information analysis.
Must be able to communicate on all levels of management.
Must have undergone appropriate training and have experience in Senior Security Management.
Preferably a former member of the Police Force or Security Agency.
Must have been exposed to the Banking Sector security environment
Qualifications Matric.
B Degree in Security Studies (preferable.)
