Job Description
The location for this position is OCONUS at one of the below sites:
Baghdad, Iraq or Kabul, Afghanistan
Performs duties within the tactical operations center (TOC)
Monitor incident and threat reporting, and appropriately call for deployment of the appropriate response team(s) (Quick Response Force, Emergency Response Team, Explosive Ordnance disposal, etc.)
Operate communications equipment -- monitor and relay radio traffic, effectively controlling the network. Communicate with entities outside of the network with a variety of voice and text-based communications technology including local cell phone, regional and global satellite phone, tactical military radio, and UHF/VHF radio
Prepare weekly and/or daily reports, as requested by supervisory chain-of-command
Maintain a watch activity record
Qualifications
US citizen
Valid US issued passport and current driver's license
Must possess one of the following:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in any of the following:
a. Tactical operations center
b. Intelligence analysis
c. Watch center
d. Command post
e. Police/Fire/Rescue dispatch (not 911)
f. Marine Security Guard
g. Military Police
2. A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Shift Leader on any previously
approved required contracts
Must attend and successfully complete required training
Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required by the task order
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the task order
Complete the Physical Readiness Test at the 50% performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of the task order
Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific.
