Intelligence Support Operations Mentor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

TAAC-Air Operations Support Services (OSS) Intelligence Support to Operations personnel will train, advise and assist the Afghan Air Force (AAF) Attack and Mobility Groups to develop enduring Mission Planning Centers (MPC) critical to military operations.MPC subject matter includes Effects Based Operations (EBO), Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE), Deliberate Planning, Intelligence Collection, Intelligence Analysis, Target development, Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE), threat briefings to aircrews, collection/dissemination of Mission Reports (MISREP) and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).

Mobility Group MPC operates within the same channels/processes to connect forward deployed combat units with Corps level Air Mobility Liaison Officer (AMLO) and the Mobility Group, also employing NIMS.Mobility Group MPC creates Aerial Resupply Packages for C-130, C-208 and Mi-17 Aerial Resupply missions.

WORK LOCATION:
Kabul Air Wing, KIA, Afghanistan or other location in Afghanistan as required.

REQUIRED HOURS:
Work may include nights, holidays, and weekends on short notice. Standard will be to conduct training six (6) days per week for up to ten(10) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s) and a standard 40 hour work week while in CONUS.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Train, advise, assist AAF personnel in the execution of processes required to establish enduring and sustainable Attack and Mobility Group Mission Planning Centers (MPC).

Coordinate with USAF & AAF advisors on a daily basis.

Assist and develop a glide path for the AAF to meet Capability Milestones (CM).

Assess the AAF's progress toward CMs and balance assessment with AAF aptitude, personnel availability, and resource constraints.

Provide daily, weekly reports, presentations as required to Raytheon's Warfighter Focus (WFF) Program Area Director, Support Mission.

Develop products and train various coalition and AAF aircrew and leadership.

Adhere to all scheduled timelines, milestones, delivery schedules and administrative requirements to include on-time delivery of reports, data products, billing invoices, staffing of personnel and action team completion.

Ensure timely problem identification and development of corrective action plans impacting the contract.

Develop curriculum, train, advise, assist and mentor AAF MPC personnel as required in the establishment and daily execution of AAF Attack and Mobility Group Mission Planning Center (MPC) processes, including (but not limited to):

· Effects Based Operations (EBO)
· Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE)
· Deliberate Planning
· Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE)
· Threat briefings to aircrews
· Collection/dissemination of aircrew Mission Reports (MISREP)
· Collection/dissemination of Close Air Support (CAS) missions’ Battle Damage Assessment (BDA)


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·Must have 6 years of experience in Military Intelligence
·Former service member with qualifications.
·Extensive experience in one or more of the following Military Intelligence disciplines:
· Brigade or Battalion level Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
· Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE)
·Formerly referred to as Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB)
· Intelligence collection, analsis, correlation and fusion
· Targeting and Tactical Assessment
· Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE)
· Analysis of Surface-to-Air Threats in a counter-insurgency Area of Operations
· Collection/dissemination of Close Air Support (CAS) aircrew Mission Reports (MISREPS)
· Collection/dissemination of Close Air Support (CAS) Battle Damage Assessment (BDA)
·Experience/sensitivity with diverse cultures
·Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
·Strong MS Office Skills
·Valid US Passport with at least 1 year validity
·Must be able to obtain & maintain an Afghan visa
·Must have an Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance



REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree & six (6) years of related experience, OR four (4) years related experience with Master's degree, or two (2) years with related PhD are required from an accredited school.Eight (8) years of additional equivalent work experience (14 total years) may be accepted in lieu of BA/BS education requirement.
