Description:
The Leidos Defense & Intelligence Group is seeking a highly motivated Multi-Disciplined Special Security Officer with CENTCOM experience to provide military support as a member of an OCONUS deployed team on the SS-AISR program in Afghanistan.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist the Overseas Program Management Team in providing security oversight and direction of the program and the supporting staff.
•Manage the contractor guard force to the satisfaction of the customer's security group and contracting activity.
•Analyze, define, and establish security policies and procedures.
•Prepare and enforce security policy and procedures, and classification guidelines.
•Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
•Oversee the following: Visitor Control, document control, physical security, and contractor guard management.
•Provide security oversight assistance within the Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
•Conduct the following security activities: courier, escort, orientation, annual security refresher briefings, infraction and violation investigations.
•Ensure compliance with site access requirements, maintain up-to-date access lists, and coordinate with tenants for in and out processing and DD254s and CPRLs.
•Ensure the proper control, dissemination, dispatch, receipt, and destruction of classified materials.
•Conduct routine inspections to ensure the adequacy of physical security, and correct deficiencies in construction, alarms, locks, and other security devices.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
-Must have Security Experience
-Musht have a current Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI
- Must be able to work a 60 day on / 60 day off work rotation cycle (7 days a week, 12 hrs. a day)
- Must be willing to live abroad for short periods, not to exceed 90 days per rotation.
-Must be willing to work rotating shifts if needed.
-Meet CENTCOM Deployment Requirements and willing to relocate to meet mission requirements which may include living in austere environments and temporary housing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
military or industrial security experience, and detail competency in SCI and NISPOM related policies / processes.
