Job purpose and key deliverables
British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Security Manager CDI&Mali Clusters to join our team in Bamako.
The successful candidate will identify and manage all risks to BAT asset and people in Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea and Guinea Conakry through an extended information network. He/She will conduct Business Impact analysis and facilitates Business Continuity Planning in these markets and will provide regular and speedy support to field staff and in addition to the Area Security team as and when required. Will also drive the execution of WAA Security Strategy in Ivory Coast and Mali
Key Deliverables
Identify key business risks in our operating environment and ensuring that measures are put in place to mitigate identified risks
Set up a strong information network combining BAT security service providers in markets and other external sources
Manage third party security information support for improved threat assessment
Share relevant security alerts per country with relevant Cluster and Country Managers, International Assignees and other stakeholders
Monitor and follow up all BAT security incidents, providing detailed accounts to relevant security Managers and updating the global SIRA platform.
Update existing security database with relevant information as maybe obtained with market specifics
Identify all Business Risks across the markets by conducting business impact analysis and providing a cost effective measures to mitigate such risks.
Ensure the conduct of site security and vulnerability assessment at all BAT locations (offices, residences, warehouses) etc. as well as distributors premises, using global template.
Manage and Investigate all security breaches and incidents reported within approved timeline.
Liaison with relevant government security agencies and institutions when required.
Facilitate the yearly review of all Business Continuity Plans for the markets (loss of distribution, unrest and evacuation plans) in liaison with Functional Continuity Manager.
Coordinate and organize security and logistics support for all visits to the markets (Regional and Global) and ensuring smooth transfers at all time.
Manage fleet resources in both cluster providing relevant information to the Fleet Manager as may be required.
Responsible to manage pool drivers and fleet detailing them for approved travels at end markets
Essential requirements
Bilingual (French & English) with good spoken and writing skills in both languages
Highly mobile as job entails travels outside location
Travels maybe be at very short notice
Ability to withstand pressures
Substantial experience in Corporate security environment
Desirable requirements
Good team player
Experience in a government security agency
