The position: Under the supervision of the HQ Security Advisor you will provide a support in security and in safety management on our Middle East missions (Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen).
You will contribution in to defining our access strategy and the implementation of ACF security management policy on the missions, which will include the development of the missions’ capacities.
Main responsabilities
HQ Activities
Participate in the achievement of the security and safety service action plan
Develop and update the security management tools
Capitalise thematic and geopolitical information gathered during field work
Field Activities
You will mainly be mobilised for: Technical support, assessment and opening of areas, context analysis and access strategy, development of missions’ capacity, security coordinator position (gap filling if needed).
The main activities of the position are:
Strengthen the security management system on missions
Design ACF humanitarian access strategy
Provide technical support for the design and implementation of security management tools
Carry out security management assessments / audits
Support the security management of teams
Promote security culture within missions
Specific objectives (Terms of References - ToR) will be defined before each departure and will depend ont the contex of the mission. Profile: You have a general background in Logistics, International Relations or Political Science, with a Specialized Master Degree in development and/or international cooperation.
You have a 5 year profesional experience, 2 of which in a security supervisor/manager position in an INGO.
English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Arabic (basics skills) will be a plus.
Remuneration and benefits:
Monthly gross salary from 1 805 € to 2 305 € (upon experience).
+ 15% of monthly gross salary as roving allowance
+ 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizen
+ Allocation enfant (limité à 5 enfants)
Perdiem and COLA during deployments according to each mission (paid on the field)
Transportation and accommodation:
Coverage of transportation costs to and in the mission.
Individual room in guesthouse covered during each deployments
Leaves and RnR:
25 days of paid leaves per year
RnR days (the exact amount depends on each field deployment duration)
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance

Work Context: **Due to the security and contextual situation, we are seeking for a person who has already experienced similar situations (conflict, difficult local authorities, etc.)
