Location: Afghanistan Description
This position will report directly to the Program Management Security Office and will be responsible for conducting 24/7 security management functions for the OCONUS location. In accordance with standardized procedures this job will provide direction on the control of classified government assets & ensure compliance of DOD, customer, site based and program office security requirements. Cultivating and reinforcing appropriate security practices and procedures are key to the success of this position and the program as a whole.
NOTE: deployment to other countries and locations is an essential requirement by the customer as well as the contract for this position.
Qualifications
Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for 100% classified accountability for assigned site.
Perform physical security responsibilities to include conducting security training briefs as well as investigating and writing up reports.
Write, maintain, and store security logs, audits, reports, and files
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with L3 Site Management, Local Security Office and Customers.
Provide In-country deployment briefing and training to L3 personnel coming onto site.
Perform Ethics Compliance training as required.
Perform other security duties as assigned

Knowledge of DOD NISPOM requirements, interview and investigative techniques, and preparing written reports of security incidents
Must possess an active DOD secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
Working knowledge of L3 OCONUS operations is preferred.
Experience & Education
Minimum two (2) years of security operations, physical security, and experience working in a hostile environment
Prefer experience in US military police, Air Force Security Forces, or DOD contractor with OCONUS management.
Experience with COMSEC duties and SCIF operations desired.
Bachelor’s Degree in security-related field such as physical security or security management.
Licensing, Certification Requirements:
AS9100 Program Awareness
US Citizenship
Valid State Driver’s License
Valid US passport

Living and working conditions at assigned site may include, but aren’t limited to physical discomfort, inclement weather conditions, and hazardous work locations.
Must be eligible to deploy to OCONUS location & meet/maintain CRC qualifications.
