Overseas
Responsibilities:
A. Conducts training for WPS II personnel and integration training for LNs in overseas locations.
B. Liaisons with other training entities involved with WPS II and integration of LNs.
C. Serves as a mentor for integrated LN protective security personnel.
D. Coordinates and conducts in-service training and firearms re-qualifications for WPS II personnel.
E. A bio approved ITI is authorized to permanently fill the position / labor category of the Protective Security Specialist (PSS) in case of shortages with the approval of the CO or COR.
Qualifications:
For bio approval, the ITI shall meet the following qualifications:
A. Must be a US citizen.
B. Level three (3) proficiency in the host nation language and the language of the task order labor force are preferred.
C. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years experience as an instructor in a security field.
D. Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a full-time equivalent (FTE) firearms instructor, this experience must have been earned as part of other federal, state, or local government training assignments.
E. Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in protective security assignments.
1. A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory or in-charge capacity.
2. A minimum of six (6) months of this experience must have been in protective security under WPS II or any of its predecessor contracts (WPPS, WPPS II, or WPS).
