Job Description:
Provide maritime operational subject matter expertise, professional consultant services and classroom and simulation training laboratory instruction in support of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces specifically the Commanding Officer and Tactical Wing Commander of the Naval Tactical Team Trainer facility in Jubail KSA. Specific duties include:
- Curriculum review and structuring IAW NAVEDTRA series ensuring quality assurance, accuracy of course content, and standardization of course content.
- Align curriculum performance standards with maritime tactical and operational scenarios.
- Coordinate, manage, and direct all designed scenarios in a simulation laboratory environment as directed in support of specific instruction on naval underway tactical operational performance.
- Responsible for coordinating activities to provide general military subject matter expertise in current naval science topics to include naval operations, navigation, ship handling, rules of the road and related professional and maritime topics of interest in support of the Naval Tactical Team Trainer.
- Provide specific subject matter expertise in the execution of naval warfare tactics in Anti-Air Warfare, Anti-Surface Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Expeditionary Warfare areas as applicable to specific Operations Specialist (OS) rating. Providing entry level, mid level, and advanced level tactical execution in single and multiple warfare areas simultaneously.
- Provide classroom and simulator instruction to all levels of the naval combat information center enlisted ratings in afloat naval operations.
- Provide mentorship to junior and mid-grade naval officers to further develop their leadership and managerial experience.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 12 years naval operational experience as E-7 thru O3 drawn from Operations Specialist (OS) specialty and minimum of 5 years of naval instructional experience in the execution of underway maritime operations and general military instruction.
- Demonstrate operational and tactical naval subject matter expertise in the execution of combat information center operations and the ability to design and execute tactical maritime operational scenarios for specific instructional purposes.
- Naval Master Training Specialist
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Systems Design preferred or 5 years minimum naval instructional experience

- Gunnery Liaison Officer (GLO)
- Combat Systems Coordinator (CSC)

- 1 year experience as assistant Combat Systems Team Trainer (CSTT) Leader and all associated CSTT member watchstation qualifications
- Knowledge of PGG/PCG and FFG-7 class combat systems highly desired.
