Description
Senior Staff Coordinator/Trainer/ECG that reports directly to the Site Manager/Exercise Support Manager.
Serves as an SME of a Brigade-level Training Support Team and is responsible for all staff-level training support pertaining to a Task Force.
Serves as senior mentor and trainer for a Battalion Task Force-level staff and is responsible for the direct management of 10 MCT Operations/TSC Exercise Support personnel.
Maintains currency across Unified Land Operations (ULO) doctrine.
Ensures team is prepared to conduct, support and facilitate Task Force-level training across ULO.
Ensures team maintains certifications in order to support Task Force training.
Plans and conducts leader development to ensure team maintains proficiency.
Assists in the planning and development of realistic Force-on-Force and Combined Arms Exercises.
Supervise employee performance appraisal program to ensure employees are receiving accurate.
Responsible for the development of training strategies that support the accomplishment of unit training objectives.
Training strategies are required for a wide variety of training events, Convoy live fire, STX, FTX, CPX and CALFEX, the level for this training can range from Squad to Brigade staff depending on the event.
Responsible for the development of orders, plans, scenarios, MESL in support of training plans at all levels squad through brigade.
Responsible to ensure all products meet unit training objectives.
Provides quality control and oversight for all products produced and events supported/facilitated by TSC Exercise Support Team.
Augments the Theater Security Cooperation Exercise Team in support of USARCENT Theatre Security Corporation Plan and must be prepared to deploy anywhere throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
Required Qualifications
Experience in preparing and planning maneuver training exercises for a Battalion or higher (Combat Arms) organization.
CTC experience.
Thorough knowledge of the military decision making process (MDMP).
Thorough knowledge of current Army doctrine, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
Former U.S. Army/Marine Corps Field Grade Officer.
Graduate of CGSOC/ILE
Must have a Secret Clearance.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related work experience. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
Desired Qualifications
Graduate of U.S. Army War College or equivalent.
Prior Infantry/Armor LTC/above or BCT-level and above.
Prior assignment to a maneuver CTC as an Observer/Controller or extensive CTC experience as BLUFOR/OPFOR.
Current experience- Less than five years separation from active duty.
