The Shell companies in the Philippines (SciP) include various companies operating in oil and gas exploration, production, oil refining, distribution and sales to consumers. Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC) refines, blends, transports and sells a wide range of high quality fuels, lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas, bitumen and other specialty oil-based products. It operates a 93-thousand barrels per day refinery, 22 oil depots across the country and over 970 retail stations nationwide.

Job Description

Ensure security threats to the Businesses and risks posed by terrorism, armed conflict, criminality, organized crime, activism, civil unrest and information security are continually assessed and brought to Business Leaders’ attention with appropriate advice on mitigation.

Provide timely and appropriate operational security support, advice and be able to provide fit-for-purpose security measures to the Upstream and Downstream businesses in Philippines.

Facilitate and update Security Risk Assessments and Facility Security Plans for Shell’s Business assets in Philippines.

Facilitate Security Awareness Trainings/Refresher Trainings (Personal Security, KfR, etc.) for Downstream and Upstream Businesses.

Establish and maintain an appropriate network of security and intelligence contacts with government, industry bodies and with commercial security providers across Philippines.

Advising and supporting Shell companies in the Philippines on meeting their duty of care, responsibilities for all staff and visitors, and providing adequate security arrangements for Shell Travelers, VIP visitors and Expatriate staff and dependents as required.

Support Maritime Business in their security concerns and maritime compliance obligations.

Providing security support and advice to Shell Businesses in Philippines.

Identifying and assessing security threats to the Business, and ensuring that the risks posed by terrorism, armed conflict, criminality, organised crime, activism, civil unrest and information security in Philippines are continually assessed and brought to Business Leaders’ attention with appropriate advice on mitigation.

Providing adequate and timely operational security support and advice to Shell’s Upstream and Downstream operations in Philippines.

Delivering security assessments and plans for Shell Capital Projects as required in the Opportunity Realisation Standards.

Maintaining coordination with relevant authorities and industry groups, including Mutual Aid groups that provide support during emergencies.

Providing Maritime Security advice to the Business and ensuring all maritime compliance obligations are met.

Facilitating and updating Security Risk Assessments and Facility Security Plans for Shell’s Business assets in Philippines.

Assisting the Business in managing anti-counterfeiting programs and initiatives as required.

Maintaining coordination with relevant law enforcement authorities and security industry groups.

Responding timely and effectively to security and emergency incidents and ensuring corrective action is implemented.

Establish and maintain an appropriate network of security and intelligence contacts with government, industry bodies and with commercial security providers across Philippines.

Advising and supporting Shell companies in the Philippines on meeting their duty of care responsibilities for all staff and visitors, and providing adequate security arrangements for Shell Travelers, VIP visitors and Expatriate staff and dependents as required.

Ensuring full compliance with the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) and the Use of Force Guidelines (UoF).

Contributing to the development and delivery security awareness plans and programmes for Downstream and Upstream Businesses.

Deputizing for the Country Security Manager Philippines as and when required.
