Countering Violent Extremism Consultants

Seefar is looking for junior, mid-range and senior experts with experience in one or more of the following three areas:


RESEARCH

Consultants who have a background in some or all of the following are sought:
quantitative/quantitative research design and methods
management and implementation of research projects
collection, coding and analysis of data
writing and presenting reports.

Necessary: Experience in social science research.

Highly Desirable: Previous experience in government institutions and/or CVE-focussed research.


EVALUATION

Consultants who have a background in some or all of the following are sought:
advising on evaluation approaches and methods
building evaluation into program design
developing evaluation frameworks and tools
evaluating and reporting on projects/programs.

Necessary: Experience in social or national security programs.

Highly Desirable: Previous experience working in government institutions and/or CVE-focussed programs.


COMMUNICATIONS CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

Consultants who have a background in creating content in a range of media are sought.

Necessary: Experience in creating content related to: CVE, social or national security programs or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) content.

Highly Desirable: Previous experience working in government institutions and/or CVE-focussed programs.

An Excellent Candidate

An excellent candidate will have experience in one or more of the three areas listed above. Due to the nature of the likely work, candidates will also need to be able to travel to and work in Australia, in compliance with visa requirements.

Services will be commissioned as needed, potentially at short notice, and will vary in size and complexity.

All candidates will need to be willing to undergo background checks, the nature of which will depend on the assignment.
