Responsibilities

The Law Enforcement Professional Advisor advises the Counter Corruption Targeting organization on Homeland Security Investigation \(HSI\) tactics, techniques, and procedures advises and assists targeting coordination efforts at the federal government level to counter corruption that affects Afghanistan\.

Provides subject matter expertise to the Counter Corruption Targeting organization\. Demonstrates expert knowledge in US HSI tactics, techniques, and procedures\. Advises and assists targeting coordination efforts relative to federal government level approaches to counter corruption internally and externally to Afghanistan\. Completes required personal weapons qualification prior to deployment\.

Primary location: Deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan

Qualifications
Experience and Education:


_Required Qualifications:_

Must possess a current TS/SCI clearance\.
Ten years of Law Enforcement experience\.
Proficient in HSI tactics, techniques, and procedures\.
One year of experience with DoD and/or Interagency task forces\.
Medically deployable\.

_Desired Qualifications:_

Knowledge and experience dealing with counter\-corruption, counter\-narcotics, or threat finance\.
Experience as a Law Enforcement Professional \(LEP\) Advisor member of an Embedded Training Team or Police Mentor Team in Afghanistan Task Force 2010 the Combined Joint Interagency Task Force\-Afghanistan \(CJIATF\-A\) CJIATF\-Shafafiyat or CJIATF\-Nexus Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction or other counter corruption organization\.
