Job Description
We are seeking an In-Country Regional Manager (RM) that will be responsible for the command, leadership and management of all regional security services support task order personnel, and has overall responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of services under his/her specified security support services task order within his/her designated operating area. The RM coordinates directly with the senior client representative in Iraq, associated staff personnel, other government organizations, and the COR/COTR regarding all aspects of contract execution. The RM will attend meetings, briefings, working groups and other forums as directed by the senior client representative. The RM is responsible for setting the mission tempo that best supports the senior client’s project visitation requirements, resolving problems identified by the customers regarding service delivery, and the performance and discipline of the work force.
This is a contingent position based on contract award and funding from the customer.
The Regional Manager will use solid business management practices to avoid budget overages, and will minimize the turnover of personnel through strong leadership.
Work closely with Management Teams to develop and maintain a good working relationship with the client/ customer.
Coordinate closely with Management Teams on all aspects of the planning and implementation of programs/projects and all tasks needed.
Implement all Operations Plans with minimal problems or issues;
Strong leadership by developing a positive and productive working environment.
Formulate best practice and cost effective guidelines/policies to ensure compliance with contractual deliverables, client standards, and international standards.
Conduct performance management and develop the staff.
Implement internal controls to ensure quality is maintained.
Develop a team based culture that reduces turnover in the workforce.
Plan and control annual budgets and maintain 100% accountability of all assigned assets.
Track the movement of personnel, canines, and equipment.
Prepare periodic forecasts and reporting on assigned contracts in close coordination with Management Teams.
Prepare and submit procurement requests and track shipments to the end user.
Manage R&R's (and other travel requirements) in close coordination with Management Teams to ensure that the proper number of employees are hired and overhead/travel costs are kept to a minimum.
Facilitate and monitor personnel actions and provide Q/A for payroll action and insurance claims.
Develop and provide weekly and/or monthly status reports as needed.
Assist with candidate recruitment and hiring through the review of potential candidate resumes, interviews, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
The RM must have demonstrated skills and experience commensurate with those expected of someone who can run an operational and support organization of over 200 people from geographically separate locations, potentially different countries.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Eight years of project management experience, to include planning, programming, budgeting, and executing large service projects in a high threat environment preferred.
Strong military or law enforcement background with extensive tactical leadership.
Current Secret Clearance required.
PMP or PMI Certification preferred.
Self-motivated problem-solver with professional demeanor.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills; oral and written is essential.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications to include: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Outlook and basic knowledge of MS Visio.
