Training and Development Manager

Location : Doha, Qatar United Arab Emirates
Salary: 45,000 GBP per annum + Package (see below)

Package: 45,000 GBP per annum
Company vehicle with free fuel card.
Annual paid leave for 30 days as work calendar with return air ticket economy class.
Medical expenses as per company policy.
Incoming air ticket economy class.
End of service benefit (gratuity) as per labour law
5 year service contract

Role Objective
Work across all departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company. T&DM will have a background in business, leadership, human resources, development and education. Include enhancing employees skills, performance, productivity and quality of work, responsible for improving the productivity of the companys employees, enhance performance and recognize productivity .

Essential Functions
Identifying and assessing future and current training needs
Drawing an overall or individualized training and development plan
Deploying a wide variety of training methods
Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
Proposes training and development programs and objectives.
Develops and monitors spending against the departmental budget.
Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
Develops and maintains organizational communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Modifies programs as needed.
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the company.
Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
Deploy a wide variety of training methods
Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
Monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
Manage training budget
Provide opportunities for ongoing development
Resolve any specific problems and tailor programs as necessary 
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

Certified instructor
interpersonal skills that enable him to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary
written and spoken communication skills that allow him to inform and advise others clearly
problem-solving and negotiation skills
initiative and the ability to offer new ideas
organizational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives
good time-keeping skills to enable him effectively manage training schedules
Personal commitment to improving own knowledge and skills.
Ability to train the trainer
