Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures; supervising the security guard force.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Protect hotel personnel, building, asset and information
Supervise the team of security guards that are assigned to them in accordance of the instruction received by the departments head.
Responsible to coordinate all shifts, weekly offs leaves etc. between the guards and department head.
Make sure all guards are respecting the procedure and post instructions.
Gather information and prepare daily detailed reports on the happenings that take place in their workplace.
Surprise inspections to see if all security guards are at their assigned places performing their duty.
Coach all the new security guards regarding all the security policies and procedures.
Assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model
Performed any other duties as assigned by the security management team.
Resolve safety hazard situations, report any maintenance problems, accidents, or injuries or any suspicious
activity.
Patrol randomly and regularly performing surveillance of the building and perimeters
Handle all interruptions and complaints.
Escort unwelcome persons from the property.
Ensure compliance with the internal hotel regulations such as regarding alcoholic beverage control laws.
Call for assistance using proper code responses.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of all guests, colleagues
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Fluent in English both verbally and written, basic Arabic speaker
Excellent physical condition (Practice of martial arts and/or bodybuilding).
Successfully completed A levels (high School Diploma)
Computer literate. (Microsoft office)
Must have completed a Leadership skills course.
Completed at least 6 months in a supervisory position or similar.
Integrity and professionalism
Completed a course in Basic Firefighting.
Completed a course in First Aid.
