Position Summary:

ICITAP is a law enforcement development organization whose mission is to work with foreign governments to develop effective, professional, and transparent law enforcement capacity that protects human rights, combats corruption, and reduces the threat of transnational crime and terrorism, in support of U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives.

Work will occur in multiple OCONUS locations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ICITAP requires a law enforcement advisor to provide strategic reform advice, plan capacity building, organizational development, and training programs.

Theoretical and operational implementation of Counterterrorism Investigations working with Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.

Training and International experience with Federal Law Enforcement Agencies working on multinational police advisory teams and building partnerships across international organizations and with host country law enforcement agencies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Position requires 10-12 years of law enforcement experience, with demonstrated background in planning and scheduling law enforcement training programs. Demonstrated experience in specialized facets of civilian law enforcement operations and activities i.e., training processes, criminal investigation, organized crime, internal affairs to including evaluating and mentoring host country personnel performance. The individual must have outstanding communication and analytical skills and the ability to assess specialized law enforcement activities and make recommendations to senior officials on adequacy and improvements to basic and specialized training programs.


DESIRED SKILLS:

Overseas experience is a plus

Language skills are a plus

Experience developing academy curriculum and training methodologies for use in investigative training
