Job Description:

CACI is seeking several Corrections Advisors to join our Team. This work will be performed in various countries

Work will occur in multiple OCONUS locations

This is to pipeline qualified Corrections Advisors for upcoming work in various countries.

The International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) works with foreign governments to develop professional and transparent law enforcement institutions that protect human rights, combat corruption, and reduce the threat of transnational crime and terrorism.
ICITAP is searching for experienced corrections officers to serve as a corrections advisors worldwide. The corrections advisors will deliver specialized correctional training and mentoring to host country corrections systems. They will provide a broad range of advice and technical assistance on corrections assistance issues.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advisors shall demonstrate the ability to innovatively plan, lead and direct individuals, as well as efficiently and effectively manage a dynamic array of corrections development programs designed to discourage violent extremist activity in host country jails and prisons.

Advisors shall possess an understanding of all aspects of corrections operations
The Advisor must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format and manage professional work relationships across organizational levels. Additionally, the Advisor must have the ability to manage cross-culturally as he/she will be required to establish effective working relationships with host country officials at various levels of government.

Must hold a current SECRET security clearance

Re-entry and reintegration experience



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Position requires 3-7 years of corrections experience as an officer in prison/correctional facility. The requirement includes demonstrated experience advising, training entry- level correctional personnel at state or federal levels on correctional topics and successfully presenting correctional officer training programs. Candidates required to have experience in providing guidance on the day-to-day operation of a correctional/prison facility and the ability to evaluate incarceration practices with regard to human rights. Must have outstanding communications and analytical skills and an Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
