ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Security Supervisor.
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Check the property on a daily basis for any damage or any incidents.
Guard entrance and exits and submit reports to the supervisor.
Ensure that 'Fire Exit' doors are kept free of blockage at all times and ensure that fire and safety equipment’s are in their right places.
Perform all tasks consistently in line with the hotel standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.
To be aware of your responsibilities in terms of health and safety including appropriate health and safety training.
Walks through entire property inside building and around the outside to assure security including locking outside doors.
Assists guests as requested, including with luggage, room keys, directions, and safety walks to guestroom.
Addresses guest complaints by investigations and giving warnings up to and including eviction of guests.
Checks kitchen, banquet and meeting rooms to make sure doors and cabinets are
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum High School education.
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar capacity within UAE or Ex‐serviceman in Military / Police.
Must have valid DPS License
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
A good command of English in both written and spoken to follow safety and security rules and procedures.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to read, write and recognize numbers, comprehend signs and symbols.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed
but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving
variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Additional certifications like SIRA / DPS, CPR, First Aid or the use of AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) are a definite plus.
