Engility is seeking a Witness Protection Training Law Enforcement Advisor to join our Team is support of the ICITAP mission in the Ukraine.
ICITAP is a law enforcement development organization whose mission is to work with foreign governments to develop effective, professional, and transparent law enforcement capacity that protects human rights, combats corruption, and reduces the threat of transnational crime and terrorism, in support of U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives.Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years as a sworn law enforcement officer in a U.S. law enforcement organization, whether federal, state, or local. Candidates should have held the rank of chief of police, deputy chief of police, commander, major, captain, or lieutenant or the equivalent to these ranks.
ICITAP requires a Law Enforcement Instructor to serve as one of the training team supervisors that will oversee 5-6 person-training teams responsible for training 60 – 75 instructors for each new patrol department established in Ukraine.
Experience developing the curriculum and methodologies used for the witness security programs
Past experience teaching basic skills to patrol officers.
Leadership experience in police academies and developing training programs.
A candidate’s management and training experience exceeding the minimum requirements will be acceptable in lieu of a Master’s degree
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in policing with 5 years or more of senior management experience over a civilian police force or federal law enforcement agency.
Experience as a teacher, trainer or advisor on criminal justice agency development programs to senior management personnel.
At least 5 years’ experience as a police academy instructor.
Leadership position in a police academy setting.
Strong decision making skills.
A candidate’s management and training experience exceeding the minimum requirements will be acceptable in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Leadership experience in police academies and developing training program
