Job Description

The Boeing Company is looking for an Executive Protection Specialist. This position provides protection services to executive leadership, Board of Directors and designated others. The preferred candidate will have:
More than 5 years experience in executive protection/ close protection.

A working knowledge in core skill requirements consisting of risk mitigation, operations and logistics planning, use of force, combative, offensive/ defensive driving, 1st responder/ medical, and firearms competency as demonstrated by a combination of training and job performance.


Other responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Collects, analyzes and conducts threat analysis and initiates actions to protect personnel, information and property.
May act as team leader to coordinate security activities for routine events.
Responds to, assesses and takes appropriate actions during emergency situations.
Oversees coordination and provision of logistical support for executive events and travel.
Interprets and communicates event recovery plan.
Written and/or verbal communication to Senior Executives
Domestic and international travel
Duties related to Executive support when administrative staff is not present



The position requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally, often on short notice. Duration of travel ranges from overnight to 10 days, and the performed work statement ranges from individual thru small team size to effectively complete assignments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Basic Required Qualifications:
More than 5 years experience as an executive protection specialist/high risk security detail
More than 5 years experience as Close Protection Specialist, or Personal Security Detail member.

Graduate of an industry recognized Executive Protection Course (i.e. Oatman EP Course).

Employment is contingent upon passing medical screening (physical) and fitness evaluation.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
