URS/AECOM has an opening for a Security Guard in Kuwait.
The Security Guard must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively carry out “detect, defer, observe and report” process in order to safeguard property and personnel in assigned areas. The Security Guard will be required to work at a fixed location such as an access control point and will be required to work as a roving patrol. The Security Guard must have a clean background with no previous felony arrests or convictions, no misdemeanor arrests or convictions related to theft, vandalism, domestic abuse, assault, or drug use / possession.
Minimum Requirements
High school Diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of general experience in administrative, technical, clerical, military, or other work that involved following written procedures, rules or regulations in contacts with coworkers, supervisors, or members of the public to provide a service, respond to inquiries, or obtain information; to include specialized experience that involved the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; or maintaining order and protecting life.
Position may require travel.
Demonstration of continuing physical fitness and wearing a uniform and the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Position will require the ability to perform in a professional manner and maintain a neat and clean appearance.
Position requires a valid driver's license.
