SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Security Manager to lead the organizational transition, implementation and daily site management oversight of Security Services at three Forward Operating Locations (FOLs) in Africa. The Director of Security will be responsible for development of Force Protection and Security Training of a Local National Security Force. Security operations include base security, sector control, badging and clearance processing, ECP manning, Security emergency and evacuation planning (NEO), BDOC Support Services, Restricted and Controlled Access Security Support, K9 operations, EOD detection support services, and management oversight of all Security subcontractors. The Security Manager is a leadership role responsible for providing effective management and leadership to staff for the execution of security operations at FOLs in Africa while maintaining transparency, integrity and compliance with established policies, procedures, rules and regulations. 

THIS IS A CLEARED POSITION, THE CANDIDATE SELECTED MUST BE CAPABLE OF PASSING A BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND OBTAINING A SECRET LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Ensure performance standards are met or exceeded for all Security and Emergency Services
• Develop and implement strategies for enforcement of these security standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Responsible for development and management of execution of Threat Vulnerability Assessments (TVA) of Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas (MEVA) IAW Joint Services Integrated Vulnerabilities Assessment (JSIVA) criteria
• Periodic audit schedules of all Security and Emergency Services
• Manage budgets, Production/administrative controls, Cost Reports, and Material Requisitions
• Ensure interrupted customer service delivery and performance; to include limited service impact planning
• Build organizational departmental teams, supply, equipment, and material chains required to meet all Security and Emergency Services objectives
• Continuous Process Improvement – Services delivery
• Develop strategies to capture efficiencies to improve overall Security service delivery under changing conditions; to meet service delivery objectives as required to support mission requirements
• Coordinate with end user/customers to identify mission critical services and strategies to ensure Quality Customer Service objectives and end-user services and products are met
• Responsibilities may include project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, owner/architect/engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required Owner and in-house reporting. Possesses a working knowledge of the respective industry
• Supervises all Security and Emergency Services personnel at the site, through subordinate leaders
• Maintains accountability for project and services implementation compliant with regulations, laws, policies, and procedures while also thoroughly familiar with relevant US and host country laws, regulations, codes, as well as SOSi policies and procedures
• Assumes accountability for project processes including contractual quality assurance, control and compliance
• Recruits consultants in coordination with Talent Acquisition Team.
• Reviews and approves monthly invoices to clients
• Monitors consultant and subcontractor performance
• Ensures corporate/client branding requirements are met on all project deliverables
• Maintains accountability for project implementation compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, policies, and procedures while also being thoroughly familiar with relevant US and host country regulations and laws as well as SOSi policies and procedures
• Assumes accountability for project processes including contractual quality assurance, control and compliance
• Recruits consultants in coordination with Talent Acquisition Team and SOSi PMO in support of personnel requirements
• Reviews and approves monthly invoices to clients
• Monitors consultant and subcontractor performance
• Ensures corporate/client branding requirements are met on all project deliverables




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


• Minimum 10 years of Security and Emergency Operational Management experience in positions of increasing responsibility
• At least five (5) of the last ten years shall have been spent in Iraq, Afghanistan, or a comparable contingency environment
• Department of Defense Certified Instructor
• Capable of establishing relationships with internal and external security agencies, to include Base Intelligence and Security organization, in order to obtain security and intelligence information required to execute security analysis and reporting to the PMO
• Possess as SECRET level clearance or be able to receive a security clearance required in support of the contract, if required
• Experience with development and presentation of Security and Emergency Services Periods of Instruction (PoI) to include base Force Protection and Security training and evaluation of personnel to compile performance, quality assurance and service metrics for the PMO, Client, and the Customer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Security or Business Management
• Possess standard Security Management credentials – DoD Certified Security Manager, DoD Certified Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer Certification, Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or other like credentials
• Previous experience in managing/supervising Red Cell Badging teams is preferred
• Previous experience in conducting security analysis of internal and external security reporting from other agencies as part of development of overall security atmospherics report to be provided to PMO as required/requested
• Previous LOGCAP, AFCAP, or Military Experience in the Middle East and Africa; Iraq or Afghanistan preferred
• Direct experience working with subcontractor security forces from various countries
