Live-in Security Manager/Chauffeur , London

Job Summary:

A) Provide the highest quality security for the Principal, his family and the business ensuring that protection is given in accordance with, relevant security law and the principles of confidentiality and integrity
B) Provide on call chauffeur services whilst on duty to the Principal and his family. The role will also line manage and oversee day to day working of staff in areas of security across the company. It is essential that the candidate lives in

Duties
Provide comprehensive security protection to the Principal and his family at their residence, outside, on social occasions and abroad as and when required. Duties are split into two areas and include but are not limited to:

Security
• Maintain secure systems both in the business and at the residence
• Develop and maintain current procedures and practices relating to security and contribute to the formulation, implementation of any new policies and procedures
• Complete and review all necessary security risk assessments

• Provide technical and tactical advice/support for the Principals and the company in relation to security
• Provide any necessary training to staff
• Provide continual review and performance of security systems/contractors/outsourced suppliers
• Ensure that laws and guidelines relating to security and their practices are adhered to

Chauffeur
• Chauffeur for the Principal when he attends the office in Central London. This will include an element of valet duties, for example helping with lunch duties
• Transporting the Principals, their family and any passengers to and from the destination in a comfortable, safe and efficient manner in line with traffic laws, the Company Vehicle Policy and Company Driving Manual
• Before any trip, duties include consulting maps or navigation devices for desired routes, checking radios or online traffic and weather reports for locations
• Advise Principals/passengers of existing adverse conditions and suggest alternative routes of travel arrangements.
• Vehicle Maintenance for all company vehicles or arranging for others to maintain when agreed by the Principals. Keeping those vehicles spotless in appearance and ready to drive without issue at all times
• Checking engines have fluid, inspection of interior and exterior electrical and mechanical components, maintaining tyre pressure and keeping fuel levels at adequate levels. When mechanical work is required, schedule maintenance and when professional washing and detailed work are needed, make service appointments and facilitate vehicle transport to and from the garage

Candidate requirements
• Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence
• First aid qualification – First Person on the Scene (FPOS) Able to use a defibrillator.
• Proven experience of Security/close protection work
• Understanding security systems for residential and business
• Experience of driving luxury brands
• Team player
• Works well with children/young adults
• Discretion, respecting client confidentiality
• Keep physically fit
• Be able and familiar to work with guard dogs
• Knowledge of driving through Central London and being able to select and adapt routes to avoid traffic as well as being able to make their way through it effectively.
• Advanced driving test desirable

Self-contained flat within the property

Start date: ASAP start for the right candidate
Days: Sunday – Thursday
Hours: 60 hours a week
