MVM, Inc. is seeking a bright and talented Armed Guard to provide a variety of security related duties depending on the types of post which are assigned. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to work independently



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide security related duties to include access/egress control, security screenings, visitor processing, patrol and response, traffic control and building response
Armed officers will have to respond to any emergency that requires immediate attention
Performs other duties as assigned



Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma
Three (3) years of security experience in the last five years (5) or three (3) years of military experience OR completion of a state certified Law Enforcement Education and Training Course
Native or near native oral and written communication skill in English (as measured by performance on a language proficiency exam
Valid Firearms License in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
Valid Security Guard License in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
Available to work a flexible schedule to include night shifts and weekends
Local to Puerto Rico



Applicants selected may be subject to a Government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment:
A favorable credit check for all cleared positions
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Successfully passing a pre-employment drug test
Successfully passing a background investigation
