Security Specialist

Responsibilities: 
The Bridge Afghanistan Security (BAS) contract is seeking an individual to be based in our Kabul, Afghanistan office and to serve as the Security Specialist reporting directly to our Deputy Program Manager (DPM): - Coordinates all mobile movements for four PAE programs in Kabul. - Coordinates RSO Vetting for all Local National employees. - Manages the badging process for all employees. - Coordinates information received and materials issued and received from individuals at the direction of the Security Manager. - Supports security operations as tasked by the DPM and Security Managers. Performs daily tasks associated as directed for deployed operations. - Supports BAS personnel as required, including maintaining administrative files for the DPM and composing correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents. - Takes notes, directions and general instructions from DPM. - May develop and maintain computerized spreadsheets and databases to enter information and generate reports. - May produce, revise, or refine formal presentation materials using presentation software. - Tracks vehicles and personnel in the field for emergency’s and other issues. - Works directly with Security Subcontractor daily. - Performs other related duties as assigned. 


Qualifications: - BA/BS degree or equivalent in education and experience. - Must be a US Citizen. - 3 years experience working on a security contract. - Must have working knowledge of the (NISPOM) National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual. - Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) - Full understanding of relevant DoS/DoD security procedures and policies. - Must be detail-oriented, work with minimal supervision, analytical and problem solving capability and have experience working in complex environments with a high degree of organizational effectiveness. Must have the ability to work successfully in a team environment and to develop relationships with co-workers and employees. Must have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees, contractors, and customers.
