Job Summary:
The Security Officer will supervise the Field Safety & Security staff (currently G4S) in order to provide a reliable and consistent security provision to Tatweer Petroleum. The position exists to improve supervision and oversight of Field Safety & Security.
Responsibilities:
The effective supervision of all Tatweer Field Safety and G4S security staff
Conduct supervision of shift handovers and written logs in order to improve shift performance
Report improvement opportunities / highlight security issues at all Tatweer Petroleum facilities
Ensure consistency of staff performance, appearance & discipline at all posts and mobile patrols
Supervisor the return and integrity of all radio equipment, GPS, company cell phones and vehicles
Perform routine inspection parades for all Field Safety and G4S Security staff
Report all discipline and performance failings of Field Safety / G4S Security staff to Direct Reports
Maintain and update Tatweer Field Safety & Security SOPs (standard operating procedures)
As and when required, produce written reports and emails on Field Safety and Security matters
Be prepared to respond in person to Emergency Incidents, traffic fatalities or serious security incidents while on and off duty
Maintain professional appearance, approachability, integrity and consistent work ethic at all times
Qualifications:
Education
High school as minimum
Formal security training (Guard Training School)
Experience
Corporate, Oil & Gas and Embassy level security experience essential
Supervision of shift staff, night time operations and oil & gas experience essential
Proven track record of accurate and detailed report writing
Skills
Written and spoken English & Arabic essential
Excellent interpersonal skills essential
Driving license
Professional Certifications (if any)
Security & First Aid qualifications (for example Guard Training School) essential
