Unmanned Surveillance Vehicle (USV) Operator , Middle East

Unmanned Surveillance Vehicle (USV) Operator ***MULTIPLE POSITIONS****

CSG Solutions is seeking to fill ****multiple positions**** for Unmanned Surveillance Vehicles (USV) Operators supporting the 5th Naval Fleet. USV Operator will perform USV operations and maintenance as required. Candidate shall perform operational maintenance functions as needed to maintain the MHU systems in a ready for service condition.
Sucessful candidates will perform the following duties:
•Responsible for safe operation of Mine Hunting Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) systems, to include safe navigation and communication during operational and training missions.
•Responsible for safe launch and recovery of AN/AQS-24A Mine-hunting System.
•Provide on-site technical support to operate and maintain Mine Hunting USV systems and support equipment.
•Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Mine Hunting USV systems.
•Assist in the development and evaluation of Unmanned Surface Vessel operations and support plans, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), training, and associated documentation.
•Support the training of Fleet operators and other personnel to support Mine Hunting USV system missions.
•Support the collection and analysis of developmental and operational test data, and support Factory Acceptance Testing and Fleet Acceptance Testing.
•Develop reports and briefs as necessary.

Requirements:
  • 100% of personnel filling this role shall have a minimum of two years of experience operating and maintaining a remotely operated system controlled by radio or tether
  • Hold a valid U.S. Passport
  • Complete Theater-required (DoD or State Dept.) training
  • Maintain a valid visa, as required
  • Complete all Theater-required training (i.e. Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE), Anti-Terrorism (AT), etc. OCONUS required training may be completed after contract award, but before departure for overseas.

Start Date: TBD (Planning for on or around August 1, 2015)

Place of Performance: OCONUS – Tasks under this PWS will consist primarily of, but not limited to, operations in the Arabian Gulf, residing in or deployed to Bahrain.  The Government will provide access to NSA Bahrain facilities.


Work Schedule/Travel: The anticipated operational tempo when deployed to NSA Bahrain and conducting 5th Fleet
operations will entail an average standard workweek of 50 hours per week.  It is anticipated that the teams will routinely deploy aboard vessels of opportunity to conduct shipboard operations in conjunction with scheduled fleet exercises, operational demonstration, and fleet operations.  During these shipboard deployments it is anticipated that a 24/7 operational tempo will be encountered.
