Site Security Manager

Position Summary
TigerSwan’s Site Manager will be responsible for the scheduling and execution of security force responsibilities. The Site Manager will coordinate directly with the Contracting Officer’s Representative regarding contract execution and will be on site a minimum of 12 hours per day as coordinated with the COR and shall be responsible for the conduct of security operations 24 hours a day.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of the contract’s security operations program.
• Coordinate with in-country staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies to (1) respond to incidents, (2) reduce risks, and (3) be aware of and have access to information on any potential risks to the task order and all involved parties (i.e. financial, physical security, reputation etc.).
• Consult on operational strategies that will ensure protection for expatriate staff, Afghan Local National staff, visiting company and non-company personnel supporting company business, and individuals or groups who are directly supporting the contract.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting, as outlined in the Task Order and in the contract.
• Ensure personnel are properly vetted and that personnel are executing their responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Items of primary concern include assessing performance of protective security detail planning and ensuring proper behavior of all contractor-provided personnel, whether on or off duty.
• Ensure compliance as it pertains to business operations within Afghanistan
• Ensure compliance with approved Technical Assistance Agreements, ITAR and FCPA
• Ensure compliance with Afghanistan labor laws

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Possess a Military/Police background of not less than ten (10) years (under honorable discharge) or have equivalent training
• Must possess at least three years’ experience in managing/supervising security guard operations
• Ability to pass physical readiness requirements, medical screening and psychological screening
• Will be an U.S. Expatriate and current Citizen of the United States and possess an active SECRET clearance
• Will be fluent in conversational English. Shall have the ability to read and write in English.
• Must be qualified on primary weapon e.g. Calibers 9mm, 5.56mm or any special weapons qualification defined by the COR.
• Prior security experience in Afghanistan is preferred

Working Conditions:
Work is based in highly stressful environment at times. Position requirements may be performed inside and outside areas as well as in inclement weather conditions; may include extreme heat, extreme cold, and high humidity atmospheres. Work will be conducted in Afghanistan and Continental United States in designated combat zones.

Physical Demands:
These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Site Manager. While performing the responsibilities within the scope of the Project Manager, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee should be able to engage in active presentations, to include color briefs. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee may be called upon to lift packages and/or
parcels up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate to loud.
