The Senior STX Supervisor reports directly to the Senior Mobile Training Team (MTT) Manager; serves as the Senior MTT Manager when required. This person facilitates ULO and Combined Arms Live Fire Exercises and all related training; maintains currency across the ULO and is prepared to conduct Company/Platoon-level training across ULO. This person is responsible for facilitating training in the Warrior Skills Training Center and Udauri Range.

Some of the duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Develops and maintains currency on all Programs of Instruction (POI) assigned to the team: C-IED survivability, CREW/Anti-Fratricide, Non Lethal Weapons Brief, C-IED Leader Training Modules, Short Range Marksmanship, Squad Designated Marksmanship, Own The Night, Short Range Combat, Crew Served Weapons, Tactical Convoy Operations, Urban Patrolling, Motorized Platoon LFX, and Urban Operations.
Ensures all POI’s assigned to the team are relevant with the most recent Techniques, Tactics and Procedures used by Anti-U.S. Forces and U.S. Forces in the CENTCOM AOR.
Develops and maintains Training Support Packages to facilitate units training requirements.
Understands Program of Instruction (POI) development, design, and certification, execution, and modification/update processes.
Know and understand lane training methodology as well as employ and operate standard and non-standard Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) in support of numerous Situational Training Exercise (STX) lanes.
Oversees and is responsible for the maintenance of all tactical and non-tactical vehicles with its assigned communications equipment.
Ensures all equipment meets appropriate levels of maintenance IAW established standards.
Oversees and is responsible for the maintenance of all training areas assigned to the team.
Ensures each site is prepared for training and is IAW prescribed safety standards established by ASG-Kuwait.
Ensures compliance with ASG-Kuwait Range Control safety standards on all live fire and situational training exercises.
Responsible for the accurate accountability of all equipment assigned to the team. Conducts 10% inventory of all assigned equipment identifying any short-comings to appropriate agency.
Briefs distinguished visitors on team’s capabilities as directed by the Senior MTT Team Manager.
Forecasts manning requirements to ensure team is manned at or above 90%.
Maintain currency with new and shifting U.S. Army and USMC doctrine.
Maintain working relationships with tenant and temporary units.
Provide training support to the company through squad battle drills or platoon battle tasks to support ULO.
Directly responsible for all ULO training facilitation by the team.
Supervises employee performance appraisal program to ensure employees are receiving accurate feedback on job performance, potential, and retention prospects.
Prepared to deploy anywhere in CENTCOM AOR as part of an MTT in support of ARCENT Theater Security Cooperation Plan, which allows the MTT Trainer to exercise significant latitude and independence in his duites and responsibilites.
Perform additional duties as prescribed by the Senior MTT Manager or Site/Exercise Support Manager.


Minimum Tangible Qualifications:
Experience in preparing and planning maneuver training exercises for a Company or higher (Infantry/Armor) organization.
CTC experience.
Thorough knowledge of the military decision making process (MDMP).
Thorough knowledge of current Army doctrine, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of MEL 3 or equivalent.
Prior Infantry/Armor CTC (NTC/JRTC/JMRC).
Prior assignment to a maneuver CTC as an Observer/Controller or extensive CTC experience as BLUFOR/OPFOR.
Former US Army/Marine Corps Infantry/Armor Officer - CPT/above or First Sergeant/above.
Prior O/C experience in Kuwait.
