Job Description
This is a Boeing management position for an International Local Hire, reporting to the Senior Leader of International Security, this Manager leads employees within the Security and Fire Protection organization for India, Middle East and Africa and will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; responsible for the delivery of Boeing’s Security and Fire Protection strategy and best practice across all Boeing’s locations in the region. The incumbent will provide advice and guidance to Boeing’s country and regional leadership on all security and safety matters including threat assessment and security risk management, high risk travel and deployment requirements, emergency incident and crisis management.
Other responsibilities will include:
Managing and oversight of compliance, security and safety education, investigations, threat management issues, commercial vendor support, and the development and execution of integrated organizational plans, policies, procedures and strategies.
The Regional Security Leader will set operational goals and provide input on departmental business strategies and objectives.
The incumbent will also oversee the regional security operating budget and provide coordination and approval for technical products and processes.
Assigns authority and responsibilities to assigned Security Advisors to execute the plan.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with site executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, direct reports and host nation agency representatives.
Coaches, counsels, mentors and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities of assigned Security Advisors and provides on-going developmental feedback.
Promotes employee recognition and builds a departmental culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
Enforces company rules and policies regarding ethical behavior, diversity, safety, security and use of company property and time charging. Candidates must be willing to travel frequently.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Military and/or police background is preferred.
Required: Excellent Communication Skills (English: Written and Verbal); Regional security knowledge and experience.
