The Position, its Scope and Reporting
This position is responsible for developing and implementing programs and projects that address specific needs within the Asia Pacific region. This position will also support and implement Global Security enterprise initiatives within the Asia Pacific region. This position reports to the Chief Security Officer.
Key priority areas include creating a proactive security attitude and ethical conduct among all Asia Pacific employees to embrace the security program and take personal responsibility to help protect colleagues and the business.
Locations
The position will provide comprehensive services and expertise to our business units in each of the countries of the region (Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, ASEAN, India, and Australia/New Zealand). This will also include expansion into countries where the company may not yet have a significant presence. In addition, these services and expertise will extend to all sectors of the business and other potential areas.
Candidate profile: Qualifications/Experience/Education
1. Master's degree or international equivalent in an area of study relevant to this position
Former experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public service or multi-nationals security department
Or, Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in an area of study relevant to this position, with experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or multi-nationals security department.
2. Must have demonstrated experience and exposure in an international security setting, in Asia Pacific.
3. Excellent verbal and written communications are essential.
4. A demonstrated verbal and written skill in Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.
5. Certified Protection Professional and/or Certified Fraud Examiner certification preferred.
