Senior Manager – Information Technology and Security, Greater China (REF: 15-44/JDB)

The incumbent will oversee the Business Information Systems by leading a team of professionals to formulate and implement strategies on business information, data security as well as ensuring smooth operation of various information systems that are in compliance with Group Information Security standards. As a core member of the IT steering committee, the incumbent will also work closely with the committee to establish the strategic direction of the Company's information systems as well as executing the strategy.

The Job:

Identify and propose new information technologies and systems to improve business processes and decision making.
Responsible for formulation, planning, implementation and review of IT strategy to support business growth of the Company in Greater China
Manage the team in providing a stable and efficient information system and telephone platforms to meet daily operation needs of the Company
Maintain security and data privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment
Manage system suppliers like Abacus and XML to ensure effective solutions are provided to meet business needs and growth
Develop, review and implement Information Security Procedures and policies
Review and perform annual test run on all back-up and disaster recovery plans and procedures

Requirements:

University graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
A minimum of 12 years’ experience in information management of which around 8 years’ in managerial level of MNC / large scale company including 3 years hands-on experience in data security & risk management. Experience in tourism industry would be an advantage
Sound technical experience with systems networking & platforms, databases management, web development and user support
Preferred with experience in managing system such as Microsoft SQL, Abacus, Lotus Notes and XML
Excellent leadership, organizational, problem solving, and influencing skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Certified CISA and CRISC
Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
