Job Description:
Appointtment Type: Independent ContractorSUMMARY: TigerSwan’s security management/coordination team is seeking a Senior Guard to coordinate and command Guards and Guard Drivers. The Senior Guard will enforce regulations and procedures designed to prevent security breaches. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of close protection. Must demonstrate proficiency with firearms and other special weapons and meet
rigorous physical fitness standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• At least 2 years of experience in Iraq; at least 3 years of equivalent experience, being former special forces; at least 5 years of equivalent experience, being former police
Language Requirements:
• Fluency in English and elementary Arabic and Russian
Preferences:
• Not less than 5 years of active service; Not less than 10 years as a police officer
Working Conditions:
Work is based in highly stressful environment at times. Position requirements may be performed inside and outside areas as well as in inclement weather conditions; may include extreme heat, extreme cold, and high humidity atmospheres. Work will be conducted in Iraq in designated combat zones.
Physical Demands:
These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of Senior Guard. While performing the responsibilities within the scope of the Senior Guard, the employee is required to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee may be called upon to lift packages and/or parcels up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment can be loud.
