Raytheon has a requirement to provide two Instructor & Curriculum
Development Specialists to support the US Led Office of Program
Management (OPM) to assist in the training and course development of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Facilities Security Force -Training
Advisory
Group (FSF-TAG). The FSF are responsible for the protection of the Kingdom’s key infrastructure to include, but not limited to: energy production facilities, petrochemical facilities, oil and gas facilities, industrial cities and future economic cities, electrical and desalinization plants and selected government facilities within the KSA. Leadership and skills courses in a variety of military and security related subjects are required by this newly established security force as it prepares for the challenges faced in securing its nation’s critical infrastructure. The objective is to increase the quantity and overall quality of FSF junior leadership, officer and NCO and instructors of basic soldier skills, special security subjects, marksmanship, and physical fitness. This is an unaccompanied tour.
Work Hours: Contractor personnel shall be prepared to undertake shift work to include nights, holidays, and weekends on short notice. On a normal basis the contractor shall work a standard Saudi 40 hour work week (Sunday – Thursday) at the training site not to exceed 50 hours per week. Primary work location is Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with other potential work sites located at multiple locations throughout the KSA and under the authority of KSA FSF or the US Military.
Responsibilities: Under general supervision of the Curriculum Development Support Team Lead, the primary tasks of the Sr. Principal Training & Development Specialist are as follows:

Responsibilities: Under general supervision of the Curriculum Development Support Team Lead, the primary tasks of the Sr. Principal Training & Development Specialist are as follows:
- Primarily serve as instructor delivering Basic and Advanced Soldier Leadership Courses augmenting FSF-TAG staff
- Secondarily – when not assigned or replaced by FSF-TAG staff instructors, develop complete Programs of Instruction (POI), consistent with current US Army doctrine and incorporate soldier skills such as those contained in the US Army Soldiers Manual of common Tasks and Military Operational Specialty (MOS) specific training when conducting Advance NCO Courses (ANCOC). Officer training will follow the US Army Officer Military Qualification Standards (AMQS). POI’s will include all bilingual curriculum required for each course to include but not limited to: lesson plans, Power Point presentations, training schedules, recommended training aids and supplies, course schedules and any other products needed to execute training
- Develop a complete standalone product which will be able to be handed to FSF-TAG staff instructors so they can execute all training without additional preparation or POI development
- Ensure training objectives are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules
- Remain fully flexible in working with FSF-TAG staff during curriculum development
Required Operational, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- At least 4 years relevant experience
- Experienced in Military Instructor/Curriculum development and conducting hands-on training in a classroom setting
- Must develop training support materials, including: Program of instruction and/or modification to existing programs of instruction, lesson plans, training support packages and training aids
- Experience in training outline development; POIs, Lesson Plans and Training Support Packages
- Cultural experience using interpreters
- Strong team building skills with a collaborative training style
- Interpersonal and people skills with exceptional Customer Service skills
- Must be proficient with MS Office Skills
- Excellent Oral, Written and Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Good Organizational and Project Management Skills
- Adheres to all established safety policies and standards
- Must be willing to live in Saudi Arabia and work in a military training environment.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the KSA, and live and work in austere and potentially hostile environments
- Must be willing and able to share quarters and transportation to and from job site
- Must adhere to local country laws, and be sensitive to cultural differences of host nation.
- Must be able to obtain a KSA motor vehicle operator’s license and able to operate a motor vehicle in KSA
- Must be able to obtain a Saudi Residency permit (IQAMA) and or Saudi Work Visa
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance prior to start.
- Must have a U.S. passport or U.S. Military ID
- Contractor personnel shall comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Recent (within 3 years) experience in an operational or training capacity
- A thorough understanding of US and coalition military organizations, roles, and missions
- Incorporation of Lessons Learned and Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTP’s)
- Prior military, E7 or higher
- Hold existing US Secret Security clearance
Required Education:
Minimum undergraduate degree at an accredited institution and in a related field. 8 years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement
