As a Security Shift Manager, you will ensure our valued guests, staff and property are secure and protected at all times in compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Supervises and manages team performance while participating in security activities
Oversees training, coaching, corrective feedback, human resources, safety and recruitment needs of the team
Monitors floor traffic: watches for suspicious activity, communicates with management and surveillance
Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions
Escorts individuals within the facility and parking lot (s); may provide first aid; conducts interviews and investigations; writes reports .
What You Will Require
Minimum 6 months experience in a Security role
First Aid / CPR training is an asset
Completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training/exam will be required within 90 days of start (BC)
ProTect, and Deal Us Security Staff Training Program within 30 days of start (In Alberta)
Serving It Right (In BC) ProServe (In Alberta) to be completed prior to start date
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to physically restrain and secure individuals using prescribed techniques
Social perceptiveness and good vision to identify people .
