Major Responsibilities:
Manages specific projects or program components that are large or complex in nature within a functional area which may include any areas described below. * Global Internal/external investigations of fraud, waste, abuse and Code of Conduct violations. * Report investigations in an electronic environment to include breaches and intrusions. * Creating and maintaining a safe and secure workplace in Western Union facilities to include management of complex access/monitoring systems * Executive protection, advance protective surveys and event safety * Global Agent due diligence and M&A scrutiny * International liaison with Government and Law Enforcement
to include management of government contracts with Corporate Security and the corresponding reimbursement schedules * Global subpoena review and fulfillment * Design, use and deployment of Internal and external fraud mitigation and reporting/tracking systems * Employee travel risk management systems and daily intelligence reports * Crisis Management and incident response. * Agent relationship security programs: Agent Partnership, Agent Integrity and the Trusted Agent Programs. Required Background: * BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. * Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field. * Strong investigative instincts and a background in financial crimes investigations, physical security, crisis management and incident response, or due diligence issues preferably with at least 5 years’ experience in federal law enforcement. * Working knowledge of federal, state and local criminal codes/courts and be familiar with the program areas of the various Federal Law Enforcement agencies. * Broad understanding of international regulatory rules and regulations and international standards for privacy/data security. * Demonstrated ability to manage operational budgets and develop an understanding of the workings of money transfer systems. * Fluent English and Portuguese.
