Job Description
Supervises two Master Gunners in range development duties and overall range layout ensuring the customer’s requirements are met and ranges are IAW DA Pam 385-63.
Supervises the subcontracted heavy equipment operators and range maintenance force in support of the Udairi Range Complex.
Develops a routine maintenance schedule for road systems and ranges with the ability to respond to emergencies posed by inclement
weather.
Reviews Range Technicians daily inspection reports and responds to deficiencies in a timely manner.
Must be thoroughly familiar with Gunnery Tables for Tanks, Bradleys, Paladins, and other ground based weapon systems.
Job Requirements
BA/BS or 2-4 yrs related exp including 0-2 yrs of mgmt experience.
U.S. Army Master Gunner Course (M1 Tank of M2 BFV).
Must be proficient in AR 25-400-2, ARIMS.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Kuwait Driver’s License.
Must be able to maintain USG Network access privilege.
Must pass annual physical IAW CRC standards.
Must be physically capable of lifting 75 pounds a vertical distance of four feet and carrying this weight a horizontal distance of 25 feet.
Work schedule: 24 hrs/7 days a week, 12 hrs shifts, 60 hr work week. Duty hours 0400-1600 hrs/1600-0400.
Must be proficient with Range Safety Danger Zone (SDZ) development.
Must have map reading, radio operator, and GPS/Compass skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Requires fifteen years military experience in Combat Arms.
Must have a working knowledge of property accountability duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management.
