Job Description
The primary goal of this program is to provide subject matter expertise and training support to assist Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and NATO Special Operations Component Command-Afghanistan (NSOCC-A) through Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan (SOTF-A) and Afghan National Army Special Operations Command-Special Operations Advisory Group (ANASOC-SOAG), in the execution of their mission. The mission is to train ANASOC units to perform their duties and responsibilities independent of Coalition assistance.
Trainer will instruct small unit tactics up to platoon sized unit operations; Troop leading procedures; Soldier Basic Skill Level 1 tasks
Trainer will also teach students on how to apply all assets available in a combined arms scenario and be able to portray how to utilize those assets as part of one operation
Trainer will teach the employment of sniper, recon, mortars, MISO, CA, in addition to regular infantry and raid style commando operations.
Trainer will develop training and education, develop training management, develop training doctrine, forecast and utilize training/operational resources (logistics), and conduct/integrate training assessments (Task, Conditions, Standards), develop sustainment training systems.
Before the selected individual is deployed he/she understands he/she will be processed through an Individual Deployment Site/CONUS Replacement Center (IDS/CRC).
Prior to deployments individual will read, and thoroughly understand the terms and conditions which he/she will be deployed and the expected field environment
Job Requirements
Minimum of three years’ experience mentoring/training and advising within Afghanistan and/or Muslim environment.
E7 or higher, working at the Battalion level in a supervisory role
Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance.
Supports the SOE Lead Trainer/Lead in mentoring, training and advising the ANASOC SOE Command, his staff and the training cadre in their daily battle rhythm in sustainment of the division and its assigned special operations units.

Operational OEF experience
Special Operations experience
Experience training Infantry TTPs in Afghanistan
