Close Protection / PSD Training Manager

Rotations/ Work Schedule: 105 deployed/35 days’ stateside
Required qualifications:
U.S. Citizen
Two (2) years’ experience as an instructor in a security field
Seven (7) years’ experience in protective security assignments
Two (2) of these years shall have been in a protective security supervisory position
Twelve (12) months shall have been experience working in a protective security under any iteration of the WPS program
Three (3) of these months shall have been as a Shift Leader
The remaining five (5) years of experience can be gained in the employ of any federal, state, local, or commercials entities providing high threat protective services


Duties and Responsibilities:
The Training Manager (TM) manages and supervises OCONUS personal protective, static guard and emergency response team security services and training for local nationals in overseas locations.
The TM is designated as a Personal Security Specialist
The TM is required to attend the Protective Security Specialist (PSS) personnel training course and the Basic Field Firearms Officers Course (BFFOC)
The TM shall obtain weapons qualification as outlined in this contract, with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249, and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47
The TM is authorized to permanently fill the position/labor category of the Shift Leader (SL) and Protective Security Specialist (PSS)
All aspects of organizing, managing, supervising, and scheduling of training and integration training. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
Supervising integration and training instructors
Plan and coordinate integration training for local national protective personnel
Ensure that all required equipment (weapons, ammunition, and materials) are on-hand for integration training and post-integration in-service
Develop and implement training plans for integration training and continued in-service training and firearms re-qualification
