Duties and Responsibilities:
-Training Instructor for this position will be required to provide paramilitary and law enforcement specialty training in support of the Counter Narcotics Police of Afghanistan.
-Primary areas of instruction will include field tactical and light weapons firearms training that support law enforcement activities (other specialty skills training experience that may be considered is field communications and field medic training). Instructor will also be responsible for student evaluation and other reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications:
-Must have a minimum of 7 years’ training experience in military tactics, operations, or program required specific specialty (i.e.Special Forces training, to include the training and knowledge of Small Unit Tactics, Close Quarter Operations, light firearms, and helicopter insertion/extractions operations). Four of the 7 years’ training experience may be substituted with four years military service as E-8 or higher.
- Must have computer skills and the capacity to develop PowerPoint presentations.
- Overseas military work and training experience is preferred.
- The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (can be substituted for 8 years additional experience)
- Current Secret Clearance
Candidates that do not meet the above requirements may be considered for a Training Specialist position but not at the Senior level. The minimum requirements for Training Specialist is 4 years training experience (can be substituted with four years military at the E-6 or higher level) and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (can be substituted with eight years additional experience).
