The Global Security Operations Organization (GSO) is accountable for the development and implementation of Hewlett-Packard's security strategies to minimize risk to HP. The GSO team works in partnership with all HP Business Units and Global Functions to provide security programs and investigative support that deliver optimum value to HP and its clients.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Create risk based security awareness programs and deliver for new hires, general population, R&D ops, sensitive information handlers, etc.
  1. Design and deploy automated solutions and web tools that simplify workforce access to security information and services.
  2. Collaborate regularly with members of HP’s Ethics and Compliance Office, Legal, Employee Relations, Internal Audit, Cyber Security, and other business partners.
  3. Conduct numerous informational and subject interviews, review and analyze internal data and documents, and prepare thorough, professional and timely investigative reports.
  4. Meet with senior and executive-level managers to present investigative findings and recommendations.
  5. Partner with HP legal, outside counsel and various law enforcement agencies to pursue legal remedies to protect HP and seek restitution in cases of significant fraud.
  6. Lead internal investigations in defined area of responsibility, ensuring that all aspects of the investigations are conducted in strict compliance with HP’s Investigative Guidelines.
  7. Lead efforts to design workplace security solutions that capitalize on the convergence of personnel and automated systems for cost and quality.
  8. Ensure all security incidents are captured and tracked in the Global Case Management System.
    1. Manage content, storage and distribution of security standards, procedures, reports and forms in support of regional security operations and delivery.
    2. Work closely with GSG functions and other key stakeholders and partners in tailoring programs for sites in area of responsibility.
    3. Layer KPI's into regional security service contracts: guard services, reception, switchboard, investigations, due diligence, etc. Ensure billing accuracy, timely submission of invoices and close monitoring.
    4. Provide audit support and program content, results recordation, remedial actions and data trending for the workplace and outsourced (customer delivery) operations in support of business requirements.
  9. Degree in a related field; security, law, police or administration coupled with operational experience in site security management, budgets, security systems and with contractors.
    1. 5-8 years of experience in security operations
    2. 5-8 years of experience in complex private sector and/or law enforcement investigations including extensive interviewing experience
    3. Preferably possess corporate experience in either security ops and/or investigations.
  10. Experience in managing region wide security operations with remote personnel, strong organizational skills for data collection, analysis and dissemination.
  11. Proven experience conducting complex private sector and/or law enforcement investigations, including extensive interviewing experience, is required.
  12. Ability to quickly and correctly identify key investigative issues, combined with the ability to develop and efficiently execute a comprehensive investigation plan, is essential.
  13. Self-motivation, ability to work with limited supervision, and excellent writing and interpersonal skills are required.
  14. English language fluency, both written and verbal, is mandatory. Knowledge of Mandarin, Malay added advantage.
