Description
The purpose of this role is to develop the individual into an intelligence manager that can support regional Security and AIT Enforcement activities.AIT Enforcement
• Responsible for recording all AIT intelligence and, under the guidance of the MENA Intelligence Manager, provide timely and actionable intelligence products to disrupt illicit trade, thus providing opportunities for my client to expand its market.
AIT Intelligence
• Record all intelligence relating to illicit trade.
• Ensure that intelligence impacting on the business is disseminated, in a timely manner, to colleagues
• Following up intelligence disseminations and record details of any results or actions taken by recipients.
• Assist as required, with the cataloguing, handling and sending of suspect samples or analysis.
• Undertake research, as required, from open sources on suspect companies and entities.
• Compile monthly AIT enforcement updates by liaising with colleagues.
• Liaise with colleagues encourage intelligence sharing and represent on AIT enforcement issues when required.
• Develop innovative improvements to intelligence recording and sharing.
• Produce timely and high quality intelligence/analytical products to assist company efforts in tackling illicit trade.
• Through intelligence analysis, identify gaps in AIT knowledge and recommend ways to fill these gaps.
Security
• Responsible for maintaining security records and, under the guidance of the Security Manager, provide timely and actionable intelligence products to inform security decisions in order to operate safely and effectively
• Complete and maintain security information on the GRID (Global Risks and Incidents Database) system.
• Compile monthly security updates by liaising with colleagues and monitoring news services.
• Produce timely and high quality intelligence/analytical products to assist with security decision making.
• Provide assistance to the Crisis Management Team as required.
