Our program in Mali, initiated in September 2013, serves the community of over eighty international and national humanitarian NGOs. The program is currently funded by AECID (Spain).

First sessions of Courses B and/or C should take place in April 2015.

Locations:Bamako, Gao, Mopti and Timbuktu.
Exact locations will be confirmed at each individual contract for sessions.
Language:All courses and material to trainees will be delivered in French.

Training Courses
In 2015, INSO will look for one or several providers to deliver 3 different courses in Mali:- Course A: Security Management Training
- Course B: Security during field missions Training
- Course C: Crisis Management Training
Training Sessions
For each course, sessions are planned as follows:- Course A: Security Management Training = 6 sessions in 2015
- Course B: Security during field missions Training = 3 sessions in 2015
- Course C: Crisis Management Training = 2 sessions in 2015

Method:
INSO is seeking a practical approach on trainings that links case studies to NGO daily reality in Mali. The training will be based on participatory training methods and will include workshops aimed at developing and rehearsing partners’ aptitude to cope with different aspects of NGOs security environment, practises and situations. The training provider will be responsible for the overall design, methodology and delivery of the activity to INSO. INSO will participate in adjusting the curriculum to the realities of NGO security and safety tendencies in Mali (context analysis Mali, contingency plans development) and co-leading some of the training activities (Mali context analysis, Development of Contingency Plan Workshops).Locations:Bamako, Gao, Mopti and Timbuktu.
