Job Description
This position is located in Kabul, Afghanistan and is responsible to the
Senior Program Manager to: Review, update, and/or draft
personal/physical operations and information security protocols and
procedures and emergency action/response plans and evacuation plans.
Ensure that employee accountability, security training and briefings,
awareness communications, incident reports, deployment updates/approvals
are properly maintained on behalf of the NSRWA CLS-Afghanistan program
and all assigned, in accordance with customer guidance and Lockheed
Martin policy. Implement security initiatives which safeguard employees
in austere environments, while addressing a variety of security
risks/concerns. Review and assess security and life support requirements
relative to operating environment; as required, assist in vetting
private security companies (PSC), security contractors, and life support
providers for potential future use. Assess life support and security
services in-place at worksite/residence. As authorized, leverage
existing, as well as foster new relationships with military, private
security companies and industry partners. As required, produce a variety
of clear and concise reports, which detail preventive and corrective
action based upon experience, reliable open source tools, firsthand
observations and US Government (USG)/PSC vetted information. Coordinate
base access badges for all LM and sub-contractor personnel. Act as
planning focal point for all accountability requirements following an
incident or as directed. Act as program liaison to Business Area
International Security manager. May also act as a security liaison with
various security partners/organizations (e.g. DOS BDS, Overseas Advisory
Council, local OSI, etc.), and as such, must be able to professionally
present to leadership and executive level audiences, if necessary.
Basic Qualifications
Secret security clearance is required Experience implementing security measures and understanding USG practices/protocols Experience leading diverse teams, while managing relationships with both internal and external customer Subject matter expertise in executing personal/physical security missions in challenging and dynamic environments (particularly in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and/or Iraq) Experience equivalent to junior grade officer or enlisted NCO ranks, with commensurate commercial exposure and/or a contract oriented delivery, while working with a PSC/Defense Contractor Security, operations and maintenance experience Should be knowledgeable and conversant in military flight operations, safety, standardization, and supervision instructions, student management, and maintenance Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted for this position which is six (6) years of related experience and a BS degree in a related discipline or 15 years of experience
