Six Maritime is currently interviewing candidates for Operational Team Leaders (OTL) and Operational Team Agents (OTA)
As a minimum Six Maritime demands that all personnel working as
Maritime Security Operators have the following qualifications and
certifications.
Operators Must Have
i. Passport with minimum 6 months validity
ii. Criminal Clearance Certificate or TWIC for US
iii. DD214 With Honorable Discharge
iv. ENG1 Medical and Psych Clearance
v. STCW95 – Fire
vi. STCW95 – First Aid
vii. STCW95 – Safety
viii. STCW95 – Survival
ix. Seamans Discharge British Only…NA for US TWIC covers.
x. Vaccination Card (with current Yellow Fever)
xi. HUET Course (OPITO Recognised – For Offshore O&G) BOSIET also Covers this requirement
These are the bare minimum. In addition preference is given to those that also have:
i. Leadership Training
ii. ISPS SSO course
iii. ISPS CSO course
iv. ISPS PFSO course (for some tasks)
v. Anti-Piracy Course BMP4 Regulations
vi. RHIB Drivers (for some tasks) US Armed forces Rhib Coxswain
