Job Description
Triple Canopy is seeking Unit Support Coordinators (USCs) for openings at locations in Iraq. In this role you will be assisting the Unit Supervisor (DS Agent) with coordination of team training, integration of policy, and staffing. The USC serves in an administrative capacity to support Regional Security Officers (RSO). The USC will receive concurrence from the respective RSO Protective Operations Unit Supervisor on team staffing issues. Each Unit Support Coordinator is a part of a dynamic team of protective services professionals.
In this role you will:
• Be designated as Key Personnel and as a Protective Security Specialist (PSS);
• Required to attend the protective security specialist training course;
• Maintain weapons qualifications as outlined in this contract, for the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249, and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47;
• Be authorized to permanently fill the Labor Categories of the Shift Leader, Deputy Detail Leader, and Protective Security Specialist
• Be responsible for administrative functions, such as, work schedules, post assignments, personnel matters, etc. This includes but is not limited to the following: ensuring positions are filled with qualified personnel and evaluating PSS on a continual basis, identifying personnel for movement into leadership positions, with concurrence of respective RSO Unit Supervisor.
Job Requirements
For consideration, you must have:
• U.S. Citizen;
• Valid US Driver's License;
• Valid US Tourist Passport;
• Must be able to obtain a DOS Secret Clearance;
• Level 3 English proficiency;
• Seven (7) years experience in protective security assignments;
• Two (2) of these years shall have been in a protective security supervisory position;
• Twelve (12) months shall have been experience working in protective security under a WPS, WPPS, WPPS II contract;
• Three (3) of these months shall have been as a WPS, WPPS or a WPPS II Shift Leader.
• The remaining five (5) years of experience can be gained in the employ of any Federal, State, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services that require skills similar to those mentioned;
• Provide verifiable evidence of successful training and work experience;
• Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable);
• No felony or domestic violence conviction (record of recent recurring misdemeanors may adversely impact candidate’s suitability rating);
• Employment with Triple Canopy is contingent upon a favorable background check;
• Must pass a rigorous physical security training program at our company administered training facility;
• Ability to deploy to an austere environment for a minimum of one (1) year;
• Must adhere to and support company policies, procedures and standards.
Desired Skills:
• Preference given to those who currently possess or previously possessed a DOS secret Clearance and have attended protective security specialist training courses.
