Chemonics seeks an associate to support our global safety and
security department. The
successful candidate will be organized and capable of multitasking. Technical security experience is not required but strongly preferred. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of safety and security management tools
- Liaising with vendors, contractors, and partners on safety and security-related matters
- Supporting communication with regional security teams; provide surge support on administrative security management tasks
- Participating on proposal teams as required
- Maintaining global safety and security department files, managing intranet security pages and resources, and updating information lists and trackersQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- One year administrative work experience required; security management experience strongly preferred
- Willing to travel and work abroad approximately 4-8 weeks per year; experience living, working, or volunteering in developing countries preferred
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to promote teamwork and a positive work environment; ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred
- Ability to establish personal and professional credibility and build effective relationships with clients
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Foreign language proficiency in French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic strongly preferred
