Location: Southern Iraq Oil Fields
Pay Rate: $300.00 USD per Day (unpaid leave)
Contract Period: 90 daysLeave: 30 days following initial 90 days contract then 90 days contract issued
Flights: All flights paid for by the company
Insurance: $200,000.00 USD in the event of serious illness of death
Responsibilities and Duties:
- SSM for MES locations throughout Iraq, providing management oversight
- Daily supervision of all Guard Force Supervisors (GFS) and Guard Force (GF) under his charge
- Provide on-site security and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) briefing to site residences and visitors as outlined with MES SOP’s
- In conjunction with the MES training and operations departments, produce a weekly training program and oversee the delivery of all GFS/GF training on project
- In conjunction with the MES training and operations departments, establish training record cards and provide a weekly summary report
- At least 5 years of experience in military or armed police unit
- Possess a minimum of 2 years previous Iraq commercial experience within a similar role supporting Oil and Gas sector related projects
- Must hold a valid driving license, MOI and company ID cards
- Must hold an in-date First Person on Scene (FPOS – I) qualification
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) qualification in close protection or country equivalent
- Must have passed Saraji Group’s Induction Programme (HEAT, Physical Intervention, Conflict Management and TCCC training)
- Active experience in the use of firearms, specifically pistols and assault rifles
- Have the following skill sets: communications equipment and voice procedure, navigation and map reading, GPS use, basic infantry tactics, basic vehicle maintenance
- Proven Ability to work effectively with local/foreign national in a small team
- Knowledge of the project area of operations
- Good analytical and communications skills
- Criminal Record Check by host country that will be renewed annually in accordance with MES policy
- English must be their first language and they should be physically fit for the task.
