Security Manager - Dubai

REPORTS TO: Hotel Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: Security Supervisors
INDIRECT REPORTS: Outsourced security staff
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Manages the annual budget, P&L and Capex for the department
Ensures that adequate measures are implemented to reduce waste, risk and expenditure wherever possible without adverse impact to the guest or quality of service


QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL

• Security Management Qualification or equivalent

DESIRABLE

• Security license holder
• Recognized Security Certification

EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL

• Minimum 8 years Security, Police, or Military experience, with a minimum 4 years in a managerial role

DESIRABLE

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Hospitality security

COMPETENCIES:
LEADERSHIP:

• Able to be a role model for the management team on risk, security and safety management

TASK ACHIEVEMENT:

• Able to presents and plan accordingly

RELATIONSHIP:

• Good relations with Government Establishment

 COMMUNICATION:

• Able to communicate with Municipality Government authorities at all levels

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of firefighting equipment
• Knowledge of CCTV operation
• Knowledge in Investigation
• Knowledge in Crisis Management
• Knowledge in Budgeting and P&L
• First aid and CPR trained
• Knowledge of handling emergency situations and evacuation
• Knowledge in Risk management/ analysis skills

 LANGUAGE :

• Good command of verbal and written English
• Speak English, Arabic language or additional foreign languages

COMPUTERS:

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
